ID Cards On The Backburner For Now

It seems the government has decided to scrap the ID card bill in the run up to the election in favour of other bills like the gambling bill and the SOCA bill. Hopefully Labour will lose about 90 seats(fat chance) at the election and this will scare them away from silly populist policies like ID cards. Here's hopping.
